Initially working with consulting networks The CharterGroup Partnership (accountants) and LawGroup UK (law firms), she moved in-house within the legal profession in 2002 as the first business development director of Buckles Solicitors.

She has been BD Director at the firm that is now Ashtons Legal since 2015.
