Charles is a solicitor and senior risk management consultant. His experience was gained both in private practice and in-house, handling contentious and non-contentious work for individual and corporate clients both in the UK and overseas.

In-house roles have included the handling of liability and professional risks claims across a number of types of insurance, with responsibility for the management of claim teams and liaison with the underwriters, brokers and clients.

Working alongside underwriters, claim colleagues and others within Travelers, Charles provides risk management guidance and information both internally and externally. His work with customers includes visits, presentations and discussions with law firms to address their risk exposures and report on claim trends.

There is growing demand to find better ways to manage and mitigate the ever-changing risks to law firms. The increasing amount of data analysis and other insights provided by Travelers is highly valued by firms.
