Andy is an Associate Partner in Hazlewoods Legal Team and works exclusively with legal practices.
Both a chartered accountant and chartered tax adviser, he has been a member of Hazlewoods Legal Team for over 20 years.
Andy has particular expertise in compliance, management reporting and performance issues, and advising firms on structure issues - including ABS status and new practice start-ups.
Andy has written the Law Society's LMS Financial Benchmarking Survey for the last nine years, and lectures nationally on SRA Accounts Rules and other topical issues. He provides in-house training on financial, taxation and compliance issues to legal practices.
He is also a Director of the Institute of Legal Finance and Management.
Hazlewoods is a top-30 accountancy practice based in Gloucestershire, with a niche specialism in advising the legal profession. The Legal Team comprises 30 individuals who focus solely on this, all based in the Cheltenham office.
The team is retained by over 130 practices and 700 individual solicitors countrywide on a recurring basis, and at least 30 others each year on projects such as practice strategy, mergers, structure advice and implementation, external equity investment and dealings with the SRA.
